OUR PHILOSOPHY Dear Friends, I have been a volunteer in the fire and EMS services since 1984. Today I still volunteer as a fire police officer as well as teaching classes for fire police and other emergency responders. It is my job on an emergency scene to protect emergency workers from traffic and protect the public from the dangers of emergency scenes, so it should go without saying that I care about the safety of everyone who works (or volunteers) out on the streets. I used to be a salesman for two companies that sold fire and EMS equipment and clothing. I enjoyed those jobs very much, but I felt it was not right that they inflated their prices as high as they could, when we, volunteers, are busting our butts working bingo, chicken barbecues and other fund raisers to scrape together enough money to buy the equipment we need in order to help others. Now, I no longer work for them. I have started my own business. I am offering whatever I can get at the lowest price I can find it. With money as tight as it is these days, I feel good knowing somebody might get the safety equipment they need, and stay alive, because I could get them a better deal than the professional retailers.
